Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Simple Books Now website (simplebooksnow.com) and any professional services provided by Simple Books Now, LLC ("Simple Books Now," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Services

Simple Books Now provides bookkeeping, tax consulting, tax preparation, tax resolution, payroll, and sales tax compliance services to small businesses and individuals. The specific scope of services, deliverables, and fees for each engagement are outlined in a separate engagement letter or service agreement provided at the start of each client relationship. These Terms apply in addition to — and do not replace — any signed engagement agreement.

Client Responsibilities

To allow us to perform services accurately and on time, clients agree to: • Provide complete and accurate information, records, and documentation when requested • Respond to questions and requests for information in a timely manner • Notify us promptly of changes to your business structure, ownership, or financial circumstances that may affect your services • Review all deliverables (financial reports, tax returns, filings) and notify us of any errors or concerns before submission or publication Simple Books Now is not responsible for errors, omissions, or missed filings resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or untimely information provided by the client.

Fees & Payment

Fees for ongoing services are billed on a flat monthly basis as specified in your engagement agreement. Project-based work (such as catch-up bookkeeping) is priced as a fixed-fee project. Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts that are significantly past due. Rates are subject to change with reasonable advance notice.

Confidentiality

Simple Books Now treats all client financial information as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your information to third parties except as required by law, as necessary to perform the services you have engaged us for (e.g., filing with the IRS or Florida Department of Revenue), or with your explicit written consent. Luisa, as a Federally authorized Enrolled Agent, is also subject to the confidentiality requirements of IRS Circular 230.

No Attorney-Client or CPA Relationship

Luisa is a Federally authorized Enrolled Agent (EA) authorized by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the IRS. She is not an attorney and does not provide legal advice. She is not a CPA. Services provided by Simple Books Now are accounting, bookkeeping, and federally authorized tax services. For matters requiring legal counsel, we recommend consulting a licensed attorney.

Limitation of Liability

Simple Books Now will perform services with professional care and diligence. However, our liability for errors or omissions is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in which the error occurred. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. We are not responsible for IRS actions, penalties, or outcomes resulting from information provided to us by the client that was incomplete, inaccurate, or untimely.
