Dedicated Tax Resolution Practice
Victoria Tax Resolution
For clients with serious IRS issues, Luisa also operates Victoria Tax Resolution — a dedicated practice focused entirely on resolving back taxes and IRS disputes. Same expert, specialized focus.
Why a Federally authorized Enrolled Agent — Not Just Any Tax Professional
An Enrolled Agent holds the highest credential the IRS grants. Unlike a CPA or attorney who may handle IRS matters occasionally, a Licensed EA is federally authorized to represent taxpayers before every level of the IRS — audits, appeals, and collections — in all 50 states.
That distinction matters when you have a real IRS problem. Many tax preparers can file returns. Far fewer can sit across the table from an IRS agent, negotiate an Offer in Compromise, or respond to a collection notice with the legal authority to represent you.
Simple Books Now handles IRS resolution directly — no hand-offs, no referrals. And because she also manages bookkeeping for many of her clients, she already knows the financial history behind your case. That context matters when negotiating with the IRS.
Federal IRS Authority
Our EA license is issued by the U.S. Treasury and is valid for any federal tax matter in any state — not limited by state licensing.
Tax Specialist, Not a Generalist
EAs specialize exclusively in tax law and IRS procedure. This isn't a sideline — it's the entire credential.
Direct IRS Communication
Our firm handles all IRS contact on your behalf. You don't have to speak to the IRS, respond to notices, or navigate their system.
Bookkeeping + Resolution = No Gaps
For existing bookkeeping clients, we already know your financial history — which strengthens every position we take with the IRS.
IRS Problems We Resolve Every Day
From a single IRS notice to years of unfiled returns and significant tax debt — Simple Books Now handles the full range of IRS resolution matters directly.
Back Taxes & Unfiled Returns
Years of unfiled returns? We file them accurately, negotiate penalty abatements where possible, and get you fully compliant without unnecessary exposure.
IRS Notices & Letters
IRS notices have deadlines and consequences. We read every letter, draft the correct response, and handle all communication — you don't touch it.
Audit Representation
Our Licensed EA represents you directly in IRS audits at all levels — correspondence audits, office audits, and field exams. You don't have to say a word to the IRS.
Offer in Compromise
Qualify to settle your tax debt for less than you owe. We evaluate eligibility based on your actual financial picture — not a generic calculator — and manage the entire application.
Installment Agreements
Can't pay your full tax bill? We negotiate directly with the IRS for a manageable monthly payment plan — and make sure the terms protect you from further collection action.
Liens & Levies
A bank levy or federal tax lien requires immediate action. We move quickly to protect your assets, pursue a release or subordination, and negotiate a resolution.
How Tax Resolution Works
Free Consultation
We review your IRS notices, back balances, and full situation. You'll leave the call with a clear picture of your options — and no obligation to move forward.
Strategy & Representation
We contact the IRS on your behalf, request a hold on collections if needed, and build the right resolution strategy for your specific case and financial position.
Resolution & Clean Slate
We negotiate, file, and close your case. Then we help you stay current and compliant going forward — because the goal is never having to do this again.
Tax Resolution FAQ
The IRS considers three factors: doubt as to collectability (they can't realistically collect the full amount), doubt as to liability (you dispute the amount owed), and effective tax administration (paying in full would create financial hardship). Luisa evaluates your eligibility based on your actual income, assets, and expenses — not an online calculator. Most people who see OIC ads on TV don't qualify, but some do. We'll give you an honest assessment.
The IRS requires at least six years of returns to be in compliance, though they may request more. We'll prepare all unfiled returns accurately, determine the correct amounts owed, and explore penalty abatement options before we file. Getting into the system is almost always better than waiting — the IRS has ways of filing returns for you (SFR), and their estimates are never in your favor.
Levies and garnishments generally come after a series of notices the IRS is required to send first. If you've been ignoring those notices, the threat is real. We can often request a hold on collection action while we develop a resolution strategy — but the sooner you act, the more options are available.
It depends on what you're resolving. An installment agreement can be set up in weeks. An Offer in Compromise typically takes 6–12 months for the IRS to process. Audit representation timelines vary. We'll give you a realistic timeline at the start — not a vague promise.
Yes. Luisa represents both business entities and individual taxpayers before the IRS — payroll tax problems, business audits, personal income tax issues, and everything in between. Her EA credential covers all federal tax matters.
